How to: Pause the execution of a command.
Solution:
Press CTRL+S or PAUSE to stop a DOS command line action. Press CTRL+BREAK or CTRL+C to stop Windows 95 from completing an action.
1) To pause a command action in an MS-DOS window, do one of the following:
a) Press CTRL+S.
b) Press PAUSE.
NOTE: Press any key except PAUSE to resume the command action.
2) To stop Windows 95 from completing a command, do one of the following:
a) Press CTRL+BREAK.
b) Press CTRL+C.
NOTE: Any actions performed by Windows before these keystrokes are completed cannot be undone.
